Tonic Music are delighted to be providing a mental health lounge and peer group session at the Agents x Managers Conference (supported by the Christopher Meredith Foundation).
Join us on Wednesday 4th December at the Agents x Managers Conference hosted by Runway Artists in Shoreditch (Rich Mix). This is an essential conference for all music agents and managers, as Tonic Music will be providing innovative mental health support on the day. With support from the Christopher Meredith Foundation, all attendees will have free access to a Tonic Music mental health lounge and peer group session.
Wednesday 4th December
9:30am-4:30pm
Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Rd, London, E1 6LA
It will be the first time Tonic Music has provided a mental health lounge or peer group at a conference. The mental health lounge will be facilitated in the Exhibition Space, next to the Cinema Bar, which will be staffed by the Tonic Music mental health team. Unlike an exhibition stand, the mental health lounge will offer attendees a comfortable space, enabling them to gain information and advice for themselves, away from the busyness (or even business) of the main area.
During the lunch break, Tonic Music will also be providing a 1-hour peer group session for up to 15 attendees to book onto. This session will be led by one of the Tonic Music peer group facilitators, offering attendees the opportunity to share their experiences of working in music, in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental setting. To register for the peer group session, please click on the link at bottom of this webpage.
"I was really pleased to have the opportunity to integrate the great work that Tonic are doing within the conference. Both Tonic and CMF have been very enthusiastic about the purpose behind the event and understand that bringing people together is a powerful way of providing not just professional development but also a support network, which is why running the Peer-To-Peer session makes so much sense. Hopefully the event can be a platform for introducing people to the services Tonic provide in a way that breaks down any potential barriers.”
Alongside these activities, on the exhibition stand the Tonic Music team will be launching plans for establishing tailored mental health support for music agents and managers in 2025. Programmes Lead at Tonic Music, Jeordie Shenton, will be participating on the panel Enhancing Your Team, Building The Dream, (11.15 - 12.00) to raise awareness of the key issues and potential solutions from a mental health perspective.
