Tonic Music will be attending and presenting at the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA) International Symposium this week.
Tonic Music are delighted to be presenting at the Tonic Rider study at the 42nd Annual Performing Arts Medicine Association International Symposium.
The presentation is scheduled for Thursday 18th July 2024 (11:00am-11:15am) in Plenary 1 (Mental Health), facilitated by Jeordie Shenton (Programmes Coordinator).
This will present preliminary findings of the Tonic Rider and University of Portsmouth research project led by Dr Zarah Vernham, Dr Adam Ficek and Jeordie Shenton investigating ‘Personal experiences and formal diagnoses of mental health disorders among music professionals before and during career’
2024 marks the first year the PAMA International Symposium has been hosted in the UK, with talks and posters presented across four days at UCL.
