Tonic Rider Workshop for Point Blank Music School

Programmes Lead, Jeordie Shenton, recently provided a workshop for students at Point Blank Music School for Mental Health Awareness Week.

On Monday 13th May, Tonic Music provided a workshop on mental health in the music industry for a group of students at Point Blank Music School. This formed part of a week of sessions organised by the wellbeing team to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

During the workshop, the group of students identified some of the unique occupational stressors encountered within the music industry, along with learning some grounding techniques to reduce dress and anxiety.

It was the first Tonic Rider workshop at Point Blank Music School, and we look forward to providing a second workshop very soon.

“It was great to watch Jeordie in action during the Tonic Rider workshop for Mental Health Awareness Week. Our students loved the workshop and we are excited for future collaborations!”

Roberta James, Student Support & Wellbeing Officer
