PPL Giving to support a series of Tonic Rider workshops

Tonic Music will be providing a series of online workshops on the Tonic Rider programme - supported by PPL Giving.

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with PPL.

PPL. licenses the use of recorded music on radio, TV and in public places in the UK and distributes the royalties to 140,000 performers and recording rights holders.

PPL Giving is a purpose-driven strategy to give back to music with a focus on building sustainable music industry for future generations. The organisation is funding initiatives that are driving positive change across the music industry, such as through musical education, talent development, later career support and artist welfare.

PPL is supporting a series of seven online preventative workshops on the Tonic Rider programme, teaching mental health skills tailored to working in music. These workshops will be free to attend for all music artists, crew and industry professionals residing in the UK, with 20 spaces available in each workshop.

"It is great to be partnering with PPL to provide essential workshops for anyone working in music, equipping skills to prevent the onset of poor mental health.

Opportunities to learn these skills are not always freely accessible within the music industry, therefore, it is important we address such issues on the Tonic Rider programme.

A big thank you goes to PPL for supporting Tonic Music to provide the workshops across the next 12 months, free to all music artists, crew and industry professionals.”
