We are excited to announce that Tonic Music will be back at Takedown Festival, taking place 3rd-4th April at Portsmouth Guildhall.
As a cornerstone of the UK alternative festival circuit, Takedown is at the forefront of the heavy music scene. Over the years, Takedown has acted as a crucial launchpad, propelling upcoming acts to the next stage of their careers whilst showcasing established artists. Tonic Music are delighted to continue our work with the event, providing a mental health stand both backstage (for artists, crew and event staff) and front-of-house (for attendees).
Once again, we will be providing a stand in the front-of-house area, offering a dedicated area where festival attendees can come and learn more about the mental health support provided on the Never Mind The Stigma programme. We understand the mental health barriers music fans can encounter when engaging in music events, and to address this, Tonic Music offers safe space festival attendees to talk to our team.
In addition, we will be providing a stand in the green room, offering information about the Tonic Rider programme and tailored mental health resources for artists, crew and event staff. This year, there will also be the option to book 1-to-1 support sessions with a member of the Tonic Music mental health team, in a private designated room in the backstage area.

This year’s line-up is no different, featuring headline performances from The Kriss Barras Band, Ferocious Dog and Elvana.
