The Tonic Futures programme is now open to all 18 to 25 year olds working and/or studying in music.
Tonic Futures is a FREE innovative programme providing free mental health support tailored for young people (aged 18 to 25 years old), beginning their careers as music artists, crew or other industry roles. The aim of the programme is to create a culture of good mental health for the next generation in music.
The Tonic Futures programme has been designed by Tonic Music with support from The Christopher Meredith Foundation. It is tailored around the unique pressures that young people face when starting a career in music - with the ultimate goal creating a culture of awareness, understanding and support for the next generation of music artists, crew and other industry roles.
This mental health support will equip the young people with the skills they need to sustain good mental health throughout their career.
What is available?
The Tonic Futures is ONLINE programmes providing young people in music with access to:
Six-week Peer Groups provide a supportive space for young people to share their experiences with other young people working and/or studying in music.
Seven Preventative Workshops equipping young people in music with the skills to support themselves - including Music Performance Anxiety, Substance Use Awareness and Emotional Resilience.
1-to-1 Therapeutic Sessions with an accredited counsellor with significant experience working in music.
