Tonic is excited to announce that the Tonic Ska Choir has returned, with their first performance booked for Victorious Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The long-awaited return of the Tonic Ska Choir is finally upon us, to the relief and excitement of its members. The choir, which is free to attend, meets this evening for the first time since early 2020.
Essential info
The Tonic Ska Choir is an uplifting choir that provides opportunities for people to come together and sing covers of the biggest ska tunes.
Choir rehearsals take place on Tuesdays 7:45-9:15pm at St Margaret’s Church, Highland Road, Southsea, Portsmouth PO4 9DD.
You must be registered as a Tonic participant and have had a 1-1 screening before you can attend.
A valid NHS Covid Pass is now required to attend, which will be checked on arrival before each rehearsal or performance.
In the lead up to its first scheduled performance at Victorious Festival, the Ska Choir will be finding its feet again by rehearsing its back catalogue.
Due to the short amount of time before the comeback performance, new members will not be able to start attending until September. However, if you would like to join, please sign up now so you can be screened in advance.
